ergoCentric showroom&store Grand Opening

Last night in our new Toronto showroom&store, we had the pleasure of hosting our customers, suppliers, employees and very special guest Dr. Roberta Bondar, Canada’s first female astronaut and the world’s first neurologist in space.

The evening featured Dr. Bondar relating her experiences in training for and being aboard Space Shuttle Discovery, demonstrating the importance of providing individuals with proper fitting equipment, regardless of their work environment. Dr. Bondar told the crowd how during her time in space she was expected to use non-ergonomic equipment, being forced to wear ill-fitting gloves while conducting experiments, noting that it impeded her from completing tasks within the expected timelines.

It was a busy evening and we were thrilled and flattered to have such a great turnout for the Grand Opening.

Please enjoy a few highlights from the evening.
