ergoCentric Names John Gardner as Chief Executive Officer
Mississauga, ON – May 19, 2015
ergoCentric Seating Systems (“ergoCentric”) today announced that John Gardner has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Terry Cassaday, Founder and current CEO, will remain active with the organization devoting most of his time to ergoCentric’s product development and strategic initiatives.
“Eighteen months ago, I started to work with John on strategies that build upon the core values ergoCentric was founded on and in early 2014 John joined the Company as President and Chief Operating Officer,” said Terry Cassaday, ergoCentric’s Founder and Owner. “John was the first appointment of a new generation of leaders to round out and be my management team. During this time our sales and revenues have experienced double digit growth. I believe John’s strategic vision, attention to operational effectiveness, sales orientation and unique capacity to inspire people will be of great benefit to ergoCentric and its customers and I look forward to working with him in the years ahead.”
John is a Chartered Accountant, an MBA and served as the President and CEO of Sysco Foods Service Toronto, an organization with sales exceeding $900 million and over 800 employees. He also has extensive experience as a corporate executive officer serving as Chair of the Audit Committee for both Alliance Grain Traders (TSX: AGT) and The Econo-Rack Group Inc.
